Basic Web Site Tips Without Getting Too Technical

By

Building a basic web site really is one item that can be considered easy or difficult depending upon the understanding of how to pull it off.  It would be required to check upon tutorials to do so if you cannot afford to go to a class on it.  However, you will be given the basics on building a web site and in short, publishing a web page and then go from there.

To begin with, the first and last tags must end with html.  It would be recommended to have them all lowercased.  With XHTML, that is a requirement but for HTML, it isn’t but a good habit to get into.  It is the only way that a web page can be written.  Without it, all that it would be is text and nothing more with some of the codes shown.

There is the head portion meaning it is the header and you have to put the title in there if you want to give the page the name.  That’s really easy to do and that is about it.  If you ever use external style sheets or even internal ones, this is also where they should be located.

The body is the most important part as it represents the main portion of coding.  Check the links below in terms of being able to learn how to build web pages with some new fancy items.
