What would I do if I had $10 million with me today? That's a very good question. It is very hard to imagine what you could do with so much money and could probably live off of it maybe for the rest of your life provided you are not foolish with the money in the first place. That is going to be the key component at this moment. Part of it to me would be based upon where you are at in your life and what you have in mind for good goals. Remember, this is about something positive, not negative. As always, you have to remember as quick as you have $10 million, you have to be really careful not to blow it away on excessive amounts of unneeded items or spending beyond your means. That can be a problem and it has happened to celebrities. So, here are a few ideas that may work out for the best.

Invest into College: If you are aspiring to get into college, this is a great tool to use and could help further your education to achieve your goal in the profession that you desire to go forth. This way, you won't have to pay for college by way of the student loan that could become very difficult to pay back in years time soaking up debt like crazy. With all the food prices, gas and oil going up and not seeming to slow down anytime soon, it would be very hard to keep up with everything at once.

Stock: If you know the stock market well, you could invest some money into stocks that you think will be good and will continue to have it go even higher than $10 million. However, it would be wise to make sure you keep a good portion of money with you and not have it all go down the drain.

Get Rid of Debts: Any debts that you have at this moment in time can be eliminated without having to make interest payments. In particular, like credit card debt or making down payments on important items that suit your needs. This type of money you would think could help or even just eliminate the debt so that you can live free without worry. Anyone who has that type of money that has an extreme level of debt would want it gone so it doesn't haunt him or her for the rest of their lives.

Buy a decent house: Maybe not go full blown out on getting a mansion but maybe just something that would be nice. It doesn't have to be the fanciest in the world but as long as it's in good condition and doesn't have any leaks or problems, then it's ok with me. Best bet would be to look at the size and what you need space wise. One house may be suitable for one person while it may not for another.

Maybe it's just me but these are things I would probably consider if I had that type of money before doing anything else. Mostly, it would be a case of taking care of bills and not trying to spend to the excess. I've never been a heavy spender but will admit the money would be tempting. But it would have to be in a way of being smart about it. If you have that type of money, be smart with it. Don't blow it knowing you can regret it later.
