Why paypal and why not e-gold?

Why use PayPal and not e-gold? That's a very good question. For myself, it could be because I don't want to join it in the first place. Funny story is for the longest time, only PayPal was the item I was the most familiar with and e-gold was never even a second thought. Very few problems have come when using it but as far as e-gold, I cannot say what issues it has because of never having one in the first place. In this essence, I'm going to go into detail on why I use PayPal and probably give it the recommendation it would be of use.

When I had PayPal years ago, I was a bit unsure but as time went on, I learned more about it but it would be best to not have so much of a personal account but upgrade to Premier or Business depending upon usage of course. It is safe and secure and very rarely does phishing occur provided you have a very strong password that prevents this type of problem from happening in the first place. The best part is that you can be trusted as long as you are verified and can buy and sell items of your choice. Whenever a mistake had been made, it had been corrected and dealt with in a timely manner.

As far as E-Gold, it has actually been taken on Ebay for safety reasons. Anyone who uses it could see the seller having their account suspended. It is in the Ebay Payment Policy for further clarification on what is allowed and what isn't. It has its own issues that it needs to work out and is under some heat. Apparently it had a scandal and not something you want to jump into with the issues at hand. Reason I never got involved with it was not because of that but because I felt like I didn't need to join another system like a bank.

I guess you could say it has something to do with not seeing many web sites that accept e-gold and not really feeling like joining another site that's like a bank. Most if not all web sites probably accept PayPal as a form of payment or receiving it depending upon usage of course. I hope this answers the question because that's the best way I could put it.
